Monitor Scene

One of the first really detailed objects I modelled in Lightwave. The interested thing here is one of my first attempts to build objects with realistic bevelled edges. Objects in 3D scenes with bevelled edges look much more realistic and less 'computer generated'. The monitor a model of the acutal monitor I was using at the time and the screenshot is a snapshot from my Windows 98 desktop at the time.

UK Bottle

This object was modelled from a water bottle from a legendary UK dance club called 'Club UK'. I brought the bottle home with me and rendered it in Lightwave. The second image with the colourful background represents the very 'colourful' kind of night you would experience at Club UK...

Chronos Fighter

My second attempt at modelling a space fighter, known as the 'Chronos' fighter. Has some interesting surface detail and classic 3D style space background.

Space Fighter

My first attempt to model and render a space fighter in Lightwave. Went a bit mad with the glowing lights, but that's pretty normal for someone new to Lightwave...

Plasma Ball

Playing around with the glowing object features of Lightwave. Makes a nice glowing plasma ball come alive.

Space Pod

The very first object I built in Lightwave - I followed an excellent tutorial by Foundation Imaging's Ron Thornton.
