K3D-GL is a fully featured (see below!) Lightwave and Imagine 3D object viewer. I wrote it while I was at univeristy in 1999 and sold a few copies as shareware.
It was quite popular but unfortunately these days I don't have the time to keep it up-to-date with the latest versions of Lightwave.
So, this means that it only has support for objects that were created in Lightwave versions up to V5.6. Lightwave version 6.0+ objects are NOT supported and will not display at all. You can still save out objects in LW5.6 format and they work great.
Sorry about that, one day when I'm rich, famous and errr not working for a living I'd love to update it or possiblity re-write it to support the new object formats...
HOWEVER, the good news for you Lightwavers is that this means I am giving away the last fully registered version of K3D-GL V1.8 for free! You can download it here. Enjoy!
